I wish I could rate like a 4.5, they're not the best I've ever had but they're tasty and hit the spot. It's local and a good option when you want some hot pho or banh mi. The staff is attentive and friendly. It gives a small family restaurant vibe. Would recommend.

My husband and I first tried Le Soleil a couple years ago, when we stopped in for dinner one evening. We remember the meal being good and the service being fine (though we can't remember many details about it), but just never really made the effort to come back even though it's within walking distance from our home. This afternoon, he wanted to try the banh mi here after walking by and seeing the new banner advertising that they have them. He walked over and brought them home for lunch. I got the grilled chicken and he got the combo. I was surprised by how big they were as soon as he took them out of the bag. We've eaten a lot of banh mi in Oakland and San Leandro and these were definitely some of the most generous we've eaten. The bread was perfect. Crispy, crunchy, but soft on the inside. They put a good amount of grilled chicken in mine; in fact, the entire sandwich was stuffed from end to end with meat, cucumbers, carrots, jalapeños, and cilantro. It was fantastic. But be warned: the jalapeños packed a legit punch. My husband really liked his sandwich and said he had nothing to complain about. These were cheap, too, something like $8.75 for mine and $11 and some change for my husband's. We'll probably never see the banh mi of the good old days when they were a few bucks and the Bay Area was still cool, but these at least weren't three times the price and half the size. Le Soleil may become one of our lunchtime staples now.

This is truly my favorite place to eat pho! The service is spectacular, the place is spacious, and everything is clean. I've gone with big groups and solo. I think their pho is so good it can literally cure you from anything. So comforting and delicious. Also the entire staff is polite and friendly.

Sate noodle soup is a winner! I ordered this via doordash and it was delivered within 20 minutes. This was a flavor bomb packed with noodles and veggies. It was giving curry flavor. However it wasn't too strong of a curry spice. It was just right. Now that I tried this one dish, it has me curious about the other items on the menu. I'll update my review once I pay another visit to LE SOLEIL.

Fong was very nice and made sure i had everything i needed. The food is flavorful and delicious here as always. Tried something new or I normally get pho. This was the grilled chicken with vermicelli noodles comes with a little salad. It was very good. I love the seasoning on there and the grilled meat is real grill not with fake grill marks on it. Everything was fresh

Honestly to me it's the best PHO place in SL. I love the broth so much it really doesn't need any additives. However i just love hoisin sauce and sriracha sauce so i cant skip that. I wish they had more condiments like chili oil, fish sauce, chili paste. They probably do but you would have to ask for it (Maybe i should do that come to the think of it). They are very nice people and very friendly. I live coming here it very welcoming. Lunch time gets busy so thats something to watch for when planning. Great open restaurant its very big. I will always come here when i want pho during my work week.
